In the Bible at least six people committed suicide being: Abimelech, Saul, Ahitophel, Judas, and Zimri. Samson would mark the 6th one but there is a debate as to if he did it or was killed by someone else. The Bible frowns at suicide and views it as if someone had murdered another person because it really is murder of the self if you stop and think about it. God should be the one that decides how and when someone dies. That person should not do it themselves and if they do they profit nothing but gain misery because it will lead you to hell forever. Once you do that, you can not turn back.
For both the ones that believe and don’t believe suicide is very hurtful to everyone and leaves a lot of people in pain. When you have committed suicide because you are tired of the way things are, or you just don’t have any more hope you have no idea what good might have happened in your future if you would have waited and had faith that things would change and turn around. It might sometimes take years, or just a few days before something positive happens but when you believe and trust in God just remember that all things are possible for those that love and serve him. If you don’t believe in him then give him a chance and let him wrap his arms around you. Things might not change over night but when you trust in God your heart starts to change and you know that you can make it plus that there is hope out there for you.
Lets say that someone is walking down the street and gets hit by a bus, you might have been close by and could have saved that person from death. What if a child falls down and is unable to get up but need someone else’s help there and no one else is there because you committed suicide? You never know what is ahead and who might have needed your help but didn’t get it because you took your life away before time. You might be surprised at how many people it can hurt and not only now but in the future. In order to move forward you have to let go of the past and learn to forgive yourself plus others. Once you have let go then you will be able to move on and your life can become a beacon of light that the world needs. It is very easy to feel down and depressed when you are alone, or if someone just died in your family but there is hope out there and you are never alone because Jesus cares for you and he is there waiting for you.
If you are saved and going through a hard time turn everything over to Jesus. Everyone is tested and each one of us has a different story to tell but when we lean on him he can help us. This might have happened to increase your faith, or maybe what is happening might help someone else later when they are going through the same thing. Reach out and put your faith and trust in Jesus because he has not forsaken you, and he loves you. Jesus did not come to kill, steal, and destroy. He came to give life and if you take it away you are missing out on all of the miracles and blessings that is to come. When you feel that there is no hope, or that nothing is working out just kneel down and ask Jesus for help, ask him to forgive you of your sins and talk with him as if he is there in the room with you. Don’t hold back the tears and emotions just let it all go and stand up renewed, refreshed, and remember that “All things are possible for those that fully believe in Jesus” Mark 9:23.

Oh come on, that’s like saying I could control the weather with the power of thought. The world may be connected but it’s not that connected. If I die today I don’t influence the existence of some kid that falls in a hole in the ground or that of a man that gets hit by a bus.It would only make sense based on the assumption that we all live alone and in complete isolation and that at any given time there are no other people around to give a helping hand. Also…if the bus guy or the hole kid would die based on this theory, and yes I know they were mere examples, that means that God has no influence at all, and it was just said in the article that he decides who lives or dies. If they die it means their time had come, and if they live it means it didn’t – either way the actions of one suicidal person that managed to succesfully kill him/herself have no bearing whatsoever. And all the future possibilites are somewhat erased when they die, so why should they care one way or another what might happen two weeks from then or in ten years when they are already at the bottom?

When a person ends their life they never know what they could miss out on. I believe that’s the point being made in this article. Each person is here for a reason and if you end it before knowing what your reason is you might miss out on a chance to talk with someone, or help them out. The power of thought actually is very powerful. Once you come out of negative thinking and start thinking postive you might be surprised at what happens. You are doomed to keep making the same mistakes over and over again with negative thinking. I had a friend that battled through breast cancer. She was told that she couldn’t survive. Guess what? She turned all of those negative thoughts over to the Lord, leaned on him and survived it. You tend to give up more on things with negative thinking and it’s very bad for your health. If you want things to change you’ve got to start thinking positive. It’s very easy to do. All that you need to do is say things like “It’s a great day today!” not “I hate today!” or “I dread, today!”. If things are coming up that you don’t like instead of focusing on the negative find ways to make positive affirmation. A person needs to have time to heal over the past events and in time they’ll start to care. And no, just because they die when they kill themselves doesn’t mean that it was their time. They went to early and will regret it. It is not up to them on when they should take their own life but up to God.

I perceive this world as being very dynamic.
We all have a purpose, our life has a goal (maybe many goals) that we know, or do not know about. Maybe there is a divine plan for us but I feel that that one is also dynamic.
I believe that there are things that we can change and things that we cannot change in our life and in the outside world. If there is a divine plan in witch I should save someone but in the meanwhile I am killing myself, the plan will be “updated” and someone else will save the guy I should save. In this case, I am loosing “karma points”, blessing, or whatever you believe in. Instead of getting the benefits for saving someone, if I (try to) commit suicide, I will get the negative aspects that are coming with this kind of actions.
I had a teacher who told me once that he doesn’t care if people believe in God or not, if they believe in a carrot, that`s great! It is good to believe in someone/something. If you feel suicidal and you do not believe in God you can still think positive and believe that someone (a psychologist for instance) can help you.
Positive thinking always comes in handy and by using its power we can change our life. When people are having suicidal thoughts it is hard to think positive but hey, the good thing is that it works even if it is not you who thinks positively. Go out and stay with people who have a positive attitude toward life. You will see that soon you’ll feel better. By the way, you should hang out with this kind of people even if you are not suicidal. They are fun and you can always have a great time with them.

depression is an illness. An unhealthy amount of chemical imbalance in the brain can and often does creatie clinical depression. What is the difference between this disease and cancer, MS, and the million others in existence today. Even with the best medication available people die everyday with cancer, MS, Infections, Lupus and yes depression. What is the difference? Like all disease some medications work and sometimes none work. I feel it is very wrong to tell someone that their loved one is in hell because they died from one of the side effects of a very real disease called depression. Re read the new testament and be careful with the words that you speak unless you have studied exactly what it is, how it effects the patient, the mrdications available and the statistics of failure, cure rate ect.. Been there. Go there often. Sometimes because of life sometimes because of MS and sometimes for no reason I know, It is a miserable disease. Prayer is the best medication I have ever found and so far Jesus has never let me down.
